- 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
- 1/4 cup (20g) unsweetened cocoa powder

🍳 Equipment
- Medium saucepan
- Two large baking sheets

📋 Instructions
- Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine butter pieces, granulated sugar, milk, and unsweetened cocoa powder.
- Stir often until butter melts and ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Bring mixture to a full rolling boil. Start a timer and boil for exactly 60 seconds, stirring occasionally.
- Remove saucepan from heat immediately. Stir in creamy peanut butter and vanilla extract until completely melted and smooth.
- Stir in the quick-cooking oats until thoroughly coated.
- Drop 2-tablespoon scoops of dough onto the parchment-lined baking sheets.
- Allow cookies to cool and set completely at room temperature for 20–30 minutes.
💡 Notes & Variations
- Boiling for exactly 60 seconds is critical: boiling too short leads to runny cookies, while boiling too long results in dry, crumbly cookies.
